Hello! I'm Andrea Gonzales. I'm a self-taught web developer and programmer, and a recent graduate from junior high school
(I'm homeschooled since 4th grade by my Mom). Currently, I'm one of the volunteer mentors at Coursera's Code Yourself! An Introduction to Programming Course,
and a recent contributor at Sugar Labs, an open source learning platform. When I was a young girl, I am known to open up (and break) mobile phones entrusted to me by my parents and as a really good gamer.
My Mom then introduced programming to me when I was 11 years old, and since then, I enrolled to various online coding courses, joined programming competitions, and volunteered to teach and contribute to open source,
while totally loving every minute coding and fixing "techie" problems, and coding (didn't I said it twice?).
On my less "techie" side, I play the piano and used to play on concerts, read fantasy books,
and sometimes take on the role of the Dungeon Master on a Tabletop Role-Playing Game session with friends.
